Good horses pay for themselves
I often hear: you certainly have some quality horses on your site. They are beautiful horses but they look too dear.
I agree that they are beautiful quality horses. Yes, they are a little higher in price than some but they are carefully selected by me to perform for you.
Only a fool would sell a tried horse of quality for less than it was worth because the owners know what they are capable of doing. And if they do not sell they will race them and clean up themselves.
Fools are few and far between today. You can always make an offer but if they accept a huge price reduction, be careful.
Sometimes people have to sell for various reasons so you can sometimes prosper but it can be risky.
Nearly all the great horses that I have been associated with from sales have been passed in. That is because their owners will not sacrifice them because they watch them closely and have seen something special about them.
Your success is ultimately my success. Do not miss a good horse for a few dollars because good horses always pay for themselves.
