- John Brown is a leading authority on bloodstock and has extensive experience.
He has operated in the bloodstock industry as a professional since 1977. John was Manager for NSW for Dalgety Bloodstock before forming John Brown Bloodstock and has a lifetime of association and involvement in the Australian industry.
- John is extraordinarily skilful at race reading and his opinions are eagerly sought after by the top industry professionals.
He attends track work, views every race, barrier trial and videos of all events. With these skills he is able to predict where unsuccessful Sydney or Melbourne performers are able to win. This is why most of the tried racehorses that the firm sells become winners.

Group One Stakes winners have been purchased for as low as $2,400. which is what SPANISH MIX & JUST A DASH cost.
He has twice represented the Australian Bloodstock Industry on official Australian Government trade missions to the Middle East.
- He has a most successful record in stud purchase and management having purchased, set up and initially managed Emirates Park Stud for interests from Dubai.
John selected the matings initially for the stud that produced horses such as DARBAAS, BRAVE WARRIOR, AL FAARIS, BUNDLE OF THANKS, and many others.
He also selected and purchased COSSACK WARRIOR as the foundation sire for Emirates Park. He proved to be a most successful stallion and sire of sires such as BRAVE WARRIOR.
Broodmare sales include the champion mares STAGE HIT and Pride Of Tahnee (The dam of Group one winners SINGING THE BLUES, REFERRAL and, SHOGUN LODGE).
A recent six figure broodmare sale was CHLORYPYLL to Jim Fleming.
